Hindi typing exams: kya jaanna zaroori hai
Hindi typing tests usually give a Devanagari passage and measure net words per minute after counting wrong words. Layouts differ: Unicode Inscript is the modern standard, while some exams still use legacy layouts such as Remington Gail or Kruti Dev. Check which layout and font your exam allows.
This page practises Inscript. If your exam uses another layout, the discipline you build here (accuracy first, steady rhythm, no backspace) still transfers.
Rules change between exams, posts and years. Always check the speed, duration, language and keyboard layout in your official notification before relying on any practice tool.
Inscript quick guide
- Left hand: vowels and matras - A ो, S े, D ्, F ि, G ु.
- Right hand: consonants - H प, J र, K क, L त.
- Shift gives the related letter: क to ख, प to फ, ि to इ.
- Halant (D) joins consonants: क + ् + ष = क्ष.
- Turn on "Show next key" to see which finger presses the next key.
Tayyari ka plan
- Pehle 1-2 hafte Hindi lessons (Inscript) poore karein.
- Fir roz 5 minute ka test, phir 10 minute ka.
